OUR MISSION

Buckhead Baseball's mission is to develop our players' skills and character, promote good sportsmanship, cultivate lifetime family friendships, and HAVE FUN!"

Buckhead Baseball serves over 1,000 families with fall and spring baseball leagues hosted at the City of Atlanta’s Frankie Allen Park. Since its founding in 1952, the league has been a fabric of the community for over 35,000 families.

While Buckhead Baseball teams compete at the highest level of All-Star play, the league also emphasizes participation, learning, family and fun. In additon to leagues for children ages 4 through 14, Buckhead Baseball hosts a Buddy Ball league that enables children with physical disabilites to play baseball. The league also sponsors various outreach programs in the community.

OUR CHALLENGES

INCREASED DEMAND

Growth in our programs has forced the league to turn down prospective local families.

AGING FACILITIES

Many of our facilities were built over 30 years ago and are in need of refurbishment or replacement

INADEQUATE PARKING

Growth has created a parking shortage, forcing families to park outside of the park.

SELF SUFFICIENCY

Buckhead Baseball funds materially all of its own operations and capital improvements.
